Our client is among the most experienced investment management organizations in the world.
The firm is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our worldwide corporate financial services department as a Senior Accountant Analyst.
Specific responsibilities for this role may include maintaining accurate and complete accounting records, providing financial analysis for one or more companies or lines of business, preparation and review of financial statements and forecasts and a variety of related projects. The individual in this role will have contact with associates at a variety of levels outside the finance and accounting area.
Hiring Criteria Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related study
CPA, MBA preferred
4-5 years experience in either public or private accounting within a larger corporate environment
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and experience in complex accounting processes and analysis
Ability to work as a team member
Initiative to work independently and contribute to department goals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including Excel and experience with an enterprise accounting system such as SAP
Ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization
